This model, reference 168000, had the shortest run of any Rolex Submariner of less than 1 year. This pseudo-vintage watch, dated to 1987 has since replaced by the 16610, 116610 and the current iteration 126610.
Made for a very short period, with the shortest production run of any Submariner of less than 1 year.
This watch is in good overall condition, thought the bezel insert is heavily marked throughout.
