Watch Care & Maintenance
Care and maintenance of your watch
A well-maintained watch can give many years of enjoyment. Care requirements vary with the age, movement, construction, condition and service history of each timepiece.
Start with the manufacturer's instructions for your particular model. Unless current water-resistance testing is expressly documented, do not assume a pre-owned or vintage watch is safe for swimming or immersion. Never force a winding crown, pusher or date-setting mechanism.
