Vintage Rolex GMT Master from 1960, with original gilt dial and matching original hands. This model, dated to 1960, features its original radium dial and hands, which haven't been replaced (very rare in models of this age).
The dial is untouched, and displays signs of age and use. We have provided ample images to illustrate the original condition, with no attempt made to obscure or hide any features.
The dial has a very small mark under the second "p" of "perpetual" - as seen in the images.
The case back is stamped IV 60, denoting its manufacture in the 4th quarter of 1960 - and the watch's serial number corroborates this.
Both the serial number and reference number are clearly legible, as seen in the images (we have blurred the middle digits of the serial number).
The movement is original, with the rotor having been replaced at some point in its life cycle.
The case is in fair-good condition, with signs of use throughout. The pointed crown guards are still clearly visible, though have been rounded a little with use and time.
The date wheel appears to be a replacement, but it still dates to approximately mid 70's - the wheel features open 6's.
